Part Sixteen

One more thing, the entire fic, up to this point, all took place in the span of ONE day.

After Cologne had used the memory erasing shampoo to ensure Erwin Talon could NEVER tamper with DNA again, and then used the same shampoo on his minions to erase their 'loyalty' to him. A quick sleep shiatsu tap put them down for a nap.

After Kasumi and a few of the others helped calm Lydia down, Theo had called all of those effected by the dust so he could do another aura scan, save for Gina, Ryan, and Thropan since it had already been proven beyond a doubt that Thropan was the father of Gina's child and those three needed a LOT of time to talk; to ascertain the facts for good.

"Before we begin the aura scan, I would like to perform a Ki shiatsu technique on Britanny." Cologne spoke up suddenly.

Britanny blinked. "Uh, why's that?"

"Now that the dust has mostly filtered out of your body, while magic still cannot ascertain your child's father until the aura is well developed, my Ki abilities allow me to do just that within hours of concievement." Cologne had to smirk as she saw Britanny's eyes widen a bit, plus she noticed the apphrensive looks on Gar and Stripe's faces, and, well that was to be expected. "I've noticed how the fact you are uncertain of the child's Father, especially the possibility of it not being your husband's has been weighing heavily upon you, so I figured as soon as it was clear I'd perform this move ASAP."

"Please..." Britanny said in a low almost pleading tone. "I want to know... please."

Cologne nodded and hobbled over placing a hand on Britanny's stomach and closed her eyes, focusing on feeling the waves of Ki flowing about inside Britanny's body where her child lay in the womb, while she was doing this, she took glances at Strype's and Gar's Ki flows as well.

Suffice to say, everyone was watching, this had been a rather large drama besides the situation with Gina so it was no surprise everyone was dying to know. Especially Brit's family and close friends who hated seeing the Werecheetah heartbroken over the possibility of her baby not being her's and Stripe's.

Cologne opened her eyes and removed her hand. "You may rest easy now child." She replied and smiled. "Your child is most certainly your husband's, the Ki flows are just too similar to be anything but his."

Britanny's body sagged in immediate relief as tears of joy flowed down her cheeks. "Oh thank God!" She murmured leaning back against Stripe who hugged her in earnest.

Gar felt out a breath of relief as well, Britanny wasn't carrying his kid that was GOOD. While another time he would have died for the chance, not like this.

"Dr. Diggers you may begin your scan now."

"Very well, and thank you." Theo said the last part said low enough so that Cologne could know the thank you was intended for what she had just done.

Cologne smiled and nodded.

Theo closed his eyes and reopened them, his eyes were glowing a brilliant golden color as he scanned over all the women affected by the dust. Theo first looks at Sheila and blinks. "Oh my."

"What is it Dr. Diggers? D... Did your original scan miss up or something?" Sheila asked hesitantly.

"No, my first scan was correct you ARE pregnant, only I was mistaken by the number. Sheila you’re having twins."

"TWINS?!" Both Ranma and Sheila exclaimed in surprise.

"Not surprising considering how they went at it so much that night." Nabiki mused, then gulped as Theo was looking at her.

"Hmm, well Nabiki..."

Nabiki sweated, that tone, that stance, Theo was delivering news she didn't want to hear! "Oh PLLLLLLLLEASE don't let his first scan be wrong!"

"Your are . . . NOT PREGNANT!!"

*THUD* "Not funny acting like you were gonna deliver news I didn't want to hear!"

"Sorry but I heard that little remark, so you set yourself up for that one." Theo chuckled then looked at Kasumi. "You, my dear, are as my first scan indicated pregnant with one." He then checked on the former fiancée brigade. "You three are not pregnant still."

All three sighed in relief. "THANK GOD!"

Theo then checked Moshia and Lydia. "You two are in the clear."

"WHEW!"

Then Akane. "You got lucky, only one child."

"That's a relief, I thought I was gonna have more than that from what Lydia and Moshia told me."

Theo looked at Genn and Brianna. "You both are clear."

"Whew."

"Aw shoot."

He looked at Charlotte next. "No changes since the original scan."

"Awwww but I want a baby."

"WHEW!" Penny sighed in relief.

Finally he checked Luan and Carla. "Well Luan, Gar is defiantly the father of your child." He then looked at Luan and blinked double time. "Oh my..."

"What is it?" Carla asked.

"Carla you’re pregnant as well." Theo said his mouth agape in surprise.

"HUH?! Who's the Father?"

Theo looked at Gar who paled, then fainted.

*THUD*

"Well he took that well." Tirga mused.

Luan and Carla ran over to where Gar had fainted to make sure he was all right. While they were checking him out Ranma was trying to snap Sheila out of her shocked state. "Shechan, you okay?" Seeing as how she wouldn't respond right away, Ranma pulled her into a hug and dragged her away from the group. He drug her over to the tree in the yard and sat down, putting her in his lap, with his injured hand holding her shoulder and his good hand holding her waist to him. He looked at Sheila and was surprised that she had snuggled up to him and fell asleep. "You got the right idea. I'm a bit tired myself."

Julia shook her head, "Well, at least we know whom all the father's are." She mused, she frowned a bit as she looked around, and nearly everyone seemed dead on his or her feet. "Theo dear?"

"Yes Julia?"

"I was thinking of working out some plans for the weddings and some baby showers, but I think I'll hold off until tomorrow. Too much stuff's happened today and everyone is dead tired."

Theo blinked and looked around, sure enough, everyone looked like they were about to fall asleep, no wait scratch that, Sheila was sleeping in Ranma's arms right now as he held her, and Ranma looked to be almost asleep as well. "I guess we can call it a day." Everyone nodded, it wasn't that late, about eight at night, but with all the emotional turmoil that had happened this day, everyone was exhausted in one way or another. "But where will everyone go? I'm not sure if the Emporia will allow so many extras to stay there tonight."

Ukyou shrugged, "It doesn't bother me any. I've got my own place."

"Same with Shampoo."

Theo nodded and turned to the Tendos, "What about you three?"

Nabiki frowned, "Well, I guess we can spend one last night here. Then we should get packed up to go in the morning." Akane and Kasumi nodded at her.

Mumsey looked at Ranma and Sheila, "What about those two? Where are they going to sleep?"

"My son and Sheila can spend the night at my house. In the morning we can come and get his stuff."

Theo nodded and looked at Kodachi, "And what about you?"

"I am not sure. Perhaps it would be best if I spent the night elsewhere outside my home."

Cologne pogoed over, "Don't fret child, you can spend the night at the restaurant." Most of the Nerima crew that was still awake and there looked at her. "Well, I can't just throw her out on her ear now can I?"

"Shampoo just realize something, where Mousse, stick-boy and lost-boy?"

"Ryoga, remind me never to follow you again."

"Indeed, for one such as myself should not have to walk across the desert, an ice field and a French sewer to get out of that whelp's mad house."

"Oh put a sock in it, I got you out didn't I?"

Everyone blinked, that was still awake, at the sight of Ryoga leading Mousse and Kuno out from behind the Dojo. Though Mousse and Kuno were limping terribly.

"Oh my! It looks like they're all right. But I'm still not happy with that Kuno boy for calling us those names earlier." Everyone nodded with that.

"SAO. ." Kuno started, but, *WHAM!* and was smashed into the ground by an umbrella and knocked unconscious. "Why did you do that Ryoga?"

"Simple. I don't like him. The only reason I helped him get out of that place was because he followed me and that's it." Mousse just nodded.

Brianna blinked as she saw how that guy, who wasn't bad looking in her opinion, used an umbrella to knock someone out; she just had to see something. So she walked over to them, "Say, can I see that thing for a minute?"

Ryoga blinked, "Huh, oh sure."

He handed it to her and Brianna was surprised at the weight of it. "Holy! This thing has to weigh at least 500 pounds." She then looked at Ryoga, "And you use this as a weapon?"

"Well, actually, it's one of my lighter ones. I have one that weighs one ton, but that one's at home right now."

Mousse rolled his eyes, "Yeah, you only swing a 500 pound umbrella around with the same ease as I do with my chains." Mousse was actually mellowed out a bit since Ranma beat the crap out of him and that evil child had him locked up.

Theo tuned that conversation out and looked at the rat trio, "So, what about you three?"

Lydia shrugged, "We got no @#$%#%$# place to go right now."

Theo nodded, "I'd let you stay with us at the Emporia, but I think that it'll be up to Britanny mostly, you three have caused a bit of trouble for her in the past you know."

"Like, we know."

"Daddy?"

"Hmm, oh yes Britanny? What is it?"

"Well, I guess they can stay, just as long as they don't try anything."

Theo nodded; it sounded reasonable enough, "What do you three think?"

Romeo blinked, "You mean, that you'll let us stay with you, just like that?"

"I'm tempted not to, but I'm tired right now and I don't want to argue about it."

"Julia dear?"

"Yes Mumsey?"

"Will there be an open spot at this inn you're staying at, or will I have to go home right away?"

"I think we can find a place to fit you." Julia then turned to Penny and Ace, "What about you two? We're leaving sometime tomorrow for Atlanta. Do you two want to wait here for a night, or do you want Theo to teleport the two of you and Charlotte home?"

"Actually Mrs. Diggers, I got my plane over here. I guess we can wait one night before goin’ home. That is, unless my girl wants to go home right now."

Penny scratched her head, "I don't see any problems with staying for one night."

Theo nodded, "So we'll be having six extra people staying with us at the hotel huh?" He grimaced, "The management may not like that."

"Actually, Dr. Diggers, I'd like to stay here for the night with Kasumi."

Akane glanced at Tirga, then looked at Theo, "Um, if Romeo, Moshia and Lydia want to, they can stay here as well."

Romeo blinked, "Really?"

"Sure, why not? I know I'm not always the nicest person, but I just don't throw people out onto the street to sleep."

"Like, wow! Romes, your girl's rather, you know, nice. When she's not knocking you around with that, um, big wooden hammer thingy."

Akane just flushed a little at that, but glared a bit at the purple-haired Wererat.

Things had winded down for our wary crew. Everyone had dealt with a LONG, hard, and VERY stressful day. While some of the stress had bled off, some was still working in these individuals so sleep was a most welcome happening.

At the Saotome home, Ranma and Sheila slept peacefully in the others arms purring tiredly and contently. While they had only known each other truly for 48 hours, a true bond of unbreaking love had formed between them.

In her room, Nodoka slept soundly with the knowledge that she'd finally be a Grandmother, even if she was still a bit disturbed from what Genma had done earlier.

At the Dojo, Nabiki slept in her room alone having spent two hours before going to bed arranging for the Dojo to be auctioned and whatnot.

In her room Kasumi slept cuddled to Tirga's side. While Tirga was still a bit reluctant he was going to do what he could to be a good father to his kid, and a good husband to Kasumi.

Akane was sleeping in her room soundly; Romeo was on a cot on the floor. While they were going to be married, Akane still didn't feel like letting him sleep in the same bed as her just yet. Romeo didn't object even if he wanted to he was too damn tired too.

Lydia and Moshia slept soundly in the guest room, Moshia dreaming of a new life without all the crap of being Gothwrain's servant, and Lydia meanwhile couldn't stop dreaming about a naive, yet sweet, Werecheetah.

At the UcChan's Ukyou slept as only the dead-tired could, she had given a quick explanation to Konastu about what had happened and went to bed. Konastu, who had been making sure that no one bothered the store, went out to get a bite to eat and something to drink.

At the Neko-Hanten, Cologne showed Kodachi to the guest room that the store had. Shampoo crawled into her bed and just rested a bit, pouting over the fact that she had lost Ranma, but eventually fell asleep. Mousse slept in his room and not in a cage as he had apologized to Cologne and everyone for using silver weapons where there was a bunch of Werecreatures.

Ryoga had gotten lost trying to find a bedroom.

At the Emporia hotel everyone slept soundly like a baby for the most part.

In their room, Britanny and Strype slept soundly, the relief that the child Britanny carries is theirs has taken a great weight off them.

Gar slept in his bed his mind slightly agitated with unrest knowing BOTH Luan and Carla were carrying his child, but he would endure somehow.

In the bed across from Gar's Carla and Luan snoozed, both having dreams of what their children would look like.

Gina slept by herself with Ryan and Thropan asleep on the floor on cots. All three still had much to discuss but were too tired to finish.

Penny, Ace and Charlotte dosed in a room. Penny was extremely grateful Charlotte wasn't pregnant, but was miffed her virtue was taken. Ace was just glad things went as well as they did considering.

Genn and Séance were fast asleep in their room, and Brianna was dosing her own.

Julia just curled up with Theo as the two laid down to rest, today had been, without a doubt, one of the most eventful days in their lives.

The singles in their rooms Mumsey, Raphiel, and Onoli, slept soundly.

Tomorrow was a new day. A new day with plenty to do.
